Hurray I won Lacoste!

Well since its announced now on their website I guess its safe to tell you ^^ After pulling my hair out for 5 days and getting into the Top 100 (thank you all who voted for me!) I was notified by email that I was one of the 6 avatars selected to represent Lacoste in Second Life. I gotta tell ya it was a horrendous week with Kyrin offline due to her internet not being set up. Though I did get the magazine done on time Go to Sanggae in world for a copy.

I can’t tell you anything about the photoshoot other than the fact that it was so much fun! I got to meet some really cool people and fart around all day for looking good, tee hee.

Essence magazine hit the SL streets yesterday (on schedule :P) and the response has been excellent! We’re planning the summer issue now, omg it is so much work but it was alot of fun. I do plan on offering a PDF version as well as putting a site together for it. One step at a time. ^^

Oh! And we will be featuring men in Essence as well. So if you want to model, go to our office in Sanggae and fill out an application or IM me in world and I’ll get one to you.

*giggles madly kicking his feet in the air* I am so excited about this contest! Ok so here’s the deal. Lacoste (little aligator on the polo shirts, if your clueless) will select six avatars (3 male avatars and 3 female avatars) on Second Life that will become Lacoste models required for a photo shoot organised on the Second Life site.

So I’ve entered and I’ve noticed alot of people I know on SL have as well (good luck everyone!) Here are the pics I took for my little entry *mews* If you feel so inclined, go to http://www.lacoste.com or http://www.lacoste.co.uk and click the contest link (its the top box that says “Become a model in a Second Life”) to view the photo gallery of all the entries.

As of April 30th voting will be open. The top 100 voted most by you will be widdled down to 6, and then the judges from Lacoste will take over. The 6 winners will split 1 million Lindens (about 166,666.66 each) and of course be used in a Second Life photoshoot for Lacoste ^^

Taking pics in SL just got a lot more fun ^^

My friend Ana had a post about a new type of photo studio available in SL. I followed the link to StyleDisorder and found the most ingenious thing I’ve ever seen!
If you are tired of flat photos in SL, the PhotoSphere is what you want. Its a huge hollowed out sphere loaded with backgrounds, tint and scale control, light balls, pose ball for your own poses and even an extra HUD so your friends or biz associates can use it.
I bought the extra background packs, and at 300L a pop, it was worth it. All in all the whole package will run you 3750L. But the things you can do! *bounds around the room* It’s amazing. Definitely get one. <^.^>

Everyone’s gone Neko!!!

I think I’ve infected some of my friends. Ok I cant take all the credit. I mean who can resist the adorable floppy ears and fluffy, swishy tail? And with more designers making Neko parts and using Neko models, its becoming a Neko Second Life!

Here is my SL twin sister. She’s done a great job with the shape! I’m sorry I made you buy the Haley shape XD I really thought it would work.

We put to bed the first REVEAL! Fashion show yesterday! It went well considering Linden’s lag issues (but that’s an ongoing issue, aint it?) The fashions got thumbs up from everyone and SLNN covered the event. There is another today at 12 noon SLT if you missed it. Just do a search under Events for Reveal.
